3,000 Murcielago Being Sold To The Highest Bidder
Remember when we gave news of the 3,000 Murcielago LP 640 coupe that rolled off the production line. It was a milestone for Lamborghini and one that will not be easily forgotten – until that is Lamborghini reaches 6,000.
Some of its special features include Lamborghini’s exclusive Ad Personam program that was first shown to the public earlier this month at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show and the automaker’s E-Gear transmission.
The lucky owner of that 3,000 car was Stephan Winklemann – a resident of Florida and president of Lamborghini. Who better to own the car but the president we thought. Than we heard that after only a few short months the same car appeared on eBay. Already the current bid was twice the amount of the MSRP.
