IMSA Adds Power To Murcielago LP640 Spyder
There are very few cars in the market that have the ability to go up against the Lamborghini Murcielago Spyder. Not only does the supercar have power – but it also has the ability to capture every eye that it passes. The fact that it has 640 horsepower means that not many cars have the ability to keep up with it either.
That is why many of us are convinced that there is nothing it needs that would make it even more perfect. IMSA questioned this same thing – but they decided to try and see what they could do.
They produced an engine package that pushes the V12 up to 708 horsepower – which knocks off a tenth in the time it takes for it to rev from 0 to 60 miles per hour and increased the top speed to 217 mph. They also added a GTR widebody kit that features new side skirts, widened intakes, front bumper, rear spoiler, and carbon fiber diffuser.
The interior features carbon fiber and leather seats that match the exterior. Now it is faster and looks even better. What more could we ask for!
