Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder Debuted At LA Auto Show
We were all excited when we heard that the LA Auto Show would be featuring a new Lamborghini model. Of course we all knew that it would be the new Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder - but that didn’t make it any less exciting.
Naturally we did all we could to make sure that we got our hands on a high-res picture of the new Lambo and a bit of information. The Lamborghini features a folding top that works through an hydraulic pump and an electric motor. The both of these help to raise and close the top in about 20 seconds. Making it the ultimate Lamborghini convertible.
Lamborghini has updated the headlights with brand new LED’s and daytime running lights. Both the Spyder and the coupe version are equipped with the new 5.2 liter V10 that can push out 552 bhp and 398 pound-ft of torque. Also the e-gear transmission and suspension upgrades have been carried over.
This extra power and the fact that the weight is reduced allows the Spyder to reach 100 km/h in four seconds flat and reach a top speed of more then 200 mph.
