For weeks now we have seen spy shots of the heavily camouflaged Gallardo LP550 and have been guessing at what the changes are that have been made. Thanks to the guys at Quattroruote Italian magazine and the guys at Autopareri we have finally been given a better picture that shows it in all its glory.
Lamborghini has decided to teach enthusiasts and Lamborghini owners exactly how to treat their cars with respect and how to drive them without crashing into anyone or thing. In the winter time we see and hear about many car accidents that people are in no matter what they are driving because they have no training on how to handle their car on the icy roads. To fix this they have created a school for ice dummies.
The 2007 model year is ending and 2008 is almost upon us – which means that we will be starting to hear the new model prices for the New Year. Lamborghini has already given us their copy of their 2008 model year list.
The entry-level Lambo is the Gallardo Coupe, which is priced at $190,600, tax not included. The top-end model is the Murciélago LP640 Roadster equipped with Lamborghini’s “e-gear” six-speed auto-clutch manual transmission. It’s priced at $381,200.
American Express is giving their platinum cardholders the chance to win a Lamborghini Gallardo. Under the ‘Ultimate Platinum Experiences’ a card holder would get an opportunity to win sports machine, American Express said in a release.
Further, five card-holders, including the winner of the car, will also get an opportunity to visit to the Lamborghini test drive track in Rome, it said. All platinum card holders are eligible to participate in this promotion, it said, adding, every Rs 10,000 spent during the promotion period helps earn one point or one chance to enter the draw.
