Hamann ‘Victory’ Shows Style
The Germans are looking to spice up what they consider to be a boring Lamborghini Gallardo. Well at least one German is. Hamann, the German tuning house that is known for its ‘wing’ doors, has designed a new Victory body kit for the Gallardo.
Hamann has always been great with styling sensibility. The wide-body Victory aero kit bundles a new front apron with an integral lip spoiler, plus wheel-arch extensions, side sills and a rear apron with integral diffuser. Adding to the car’s aggressive appearance are a roof-mounted air scoop and a four-piece rear wing.
Most people support their favorite teams by placing flags outside their houses or putting bumper stickers on their vehicles. At least in America that is what we do. In Italy they love their teams so much that they decide that little is not good enough. To support their team they decorate a Lamborghini in the colors of their national soccer team.
Lamborghini is planning on attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year and will be displaying the lightweight V10 Gallardo Superleggera, the V12 Murcielago LP640 Coupe and Roadster, and the V10 Gallardo Coupe and Spyder.
There are three words that come to mind when thinking of the perfect vehicle, razor-sharp headlights, deep side air intakes, and long edgy lines of bodywork. Lamborghini of Orange County (LOC), which accounted for 15% of Lamborghini sales in the U.S. last year, has a little problem. While the rest of the automotive world was looking to Geneva and New York to see the new Superleggera, LOC had one of its own to display. Well, for one night at least.
