Currently the Lambo flagship, the Lamborghini Murciélago puts the “super” in supercar. It’s a front to back racing machine disguised in a street friendly two seater with the now famous scissor doors powered be a ferocious V12 engine that sounds like none other on Earth.
First introduced in 2002 as a replacement for the super popular Diablo, the company tradition of naming their cars after a Spanish fighting bull, which was named after a flying bat… which is fitting considering this car nearly flies itself. Like it’s predecessor, it too tops the double century mark pegging the speedo at between 205-209 mph depending on the version you’ve strapped yourself into. Popular models include the 40th Anniversary Edition, LP640, LP 650-4 Roadster and LP 670-4 SuperVeloce.
