We were all excited when we heard that the LA Auto Show would be featuring a new Lamborghini model. Of course we all knew that it would be the new Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder - but that didn’t make it any less exciting.
Naturally we did all we could to make sure that we got our hands on a high-res picture of the new Lambo and a bit of information. The Lamborghini features a folding top that works through an hydraulic pump and an electric motor. The both of these help to raise and close the top in about 20 seconds. Making it the ultimate Lamborghini convertible.
Lamborghini is creating a single make race series. The automaker will be showcasing the competition specification Gallardo LP560-4 or the Super Trofeo. Each of the races will feature 30 cars that will be driven by private owners, dealer teams, and a single “celebrity driver” that is being sponsored by Lamborghini.
The Trofeo weighs 2866 pounds and is equipped with all of the necessary safety equipment which include; ABS brakes and wheels, race-specific chassis adjustments, Pirelli slicks, aero tweaks, and new instrumentation.
Lamborghini has been working on a new model and they have been keeping very quiet about it. Many have been trying to speculate what the new model will look like. Some believe that it will become the Jota. The Jota was a classic nameplate that has not been used in some time. It is possible that they are creating an exclusive model of this car to try to revive it.
There are very few cars in the market that have the ability to go up against the Lamborghini Murcielago Spyder. Not only does the supercar have power - but it also has the ability to capture every eye that it passes. The fact that it has 640 horsepower means that not many cars have the ability to keep up with it either.
An automaker dealer from West Salem is working overtime to provide more supercars to the people in the city and to those who crave the adventure to go with their high-end lifestyle in the Coulee Region. Over the past few months Premier Auto Sales has been displaying a Lamborghini in the West Salem lot.
