Lamborghini’s New 2011 Secret Model Caught Running Laps
Lamborghini has been working on a new model and they have been keeping very quiet about it. Many have been trying to speculate what the new model will look like. Some believe that it will become the Jota. The Jota was a classic nameplate that has not been used in some time. It is possible that they are creating an exclusive model of this car to try to revive it.
The good thing is we were able to get our hands on some spy shots that could help to shed some light on the subject. The shots were taken on the Nurburgring track where it was most likely taking a few test runs. The bodywork is that of a Murcielago – but with a few modifications.
The supercar seems wider then the traditional Murcielago and the vents located behind the side windows are of a different shape. Sources state that it will be made of lightweight carbon fiber bodywork except on the roof and doors. The bodywork is expected to be laid over aluminum space frame.
We can only assume that they will use the newest V12 engine – but may add direct injection for more power. Lamborghini has plans to debut this new supercar as a 2011 model. We are sure to get our hands on more pictures before then.
