New $1.6 Million Lamborghini In The Works
Rumor has it that Lamborghini is preparing to debut a new vehicle next month at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It is said to be a one of a kind vehicle that will upstage everything there. Coming in at $1.6 million it seems that it will also be the most expensive vehicle there as well.
Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann showed a scale model and a video to selected dealers and VIP customers at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance last weekend. Details are sketchy, but word is that the car’s styling was inspired by Lockheed Martin’s latest F22 Raptor fighter jet, including its gray paint job and fancy instrument panel.
The rumor goes that 20 will be made, with 15 being made for the U.S. Potential buyers reportedly handed over $300,000 deposits for the privilege.
This is something that we are all looking forward to. Things have been kind of boring when it comes to competition so it will be great to see Ferrari and Lamborghini competing once more.
