Robbie Savage Is Selling His Priceless Lamborghini

2005 Lamborghini MurcielagoEveryone wants to have something worth value and something that is irreplaceable. Like a Lamborghini that is owned by a professional football player. Welsh midfielder Robbie Savage became the very first owner of the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago E-Gear and now he is selling it on Auto Trader.

Powered by a colossal 6.2-litre V12 engine, the flagship Lambo, which cost £182,000 new, produces a titanic 580bhp and 479lb/ft of pulling power. These epic numbers give the Italian motor epic performance. The Murcielago accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds before running out of steam at 205mph. In an interview with GQ magazine, he described the sound of his Lambo as “sweeter than the car stereo” but also said “I am quite modest, that’s why I bought the black one.”

But expect to make regular trips to the petrol station. The Murcielago manages a combined fuel economy of just 13.1mpg and emits a shocking 500g/km of carbon dioxide. Add in the horrific insurance premiums and massive servicing bills make this one of the most exclusive cars on Britain’s roads. The black supercar is the E-Gear model, with only 400 built per year and benefits from permanent four-wheel drive and a semi-automatic gearbox.

Inside, the jaw-dropping Lambo has sat-nav, automatic climate control, a Harmon Kardon sound system and leather seats. On the outside, 4.5-metre long beast is fitted with gorgeous 18-inch alloys and xenon headlights. And as with all Lamborghinis, Savage’s Murcielago has the ultimate posing tool, scissor-opening doors. Blackburn midfielder Robbie Savage is loved and loathed in equal measures and is renowned for his eccentric on-field antics.

Famous for his elaborate playing style, Savage was once accidentally floored by a referee’s elbow prompting the biggest cheer of the game. Now you can get your hands on Robbie Savage’s Lamborghini, which has covered just 13,000 miles and has recently been serviced, for £159,995.
